Peterborough Performs provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy sixteen local music acts who perform simultaneously across two stages with all proceeds funding United Way Peterborough & District Partner Agencies who work to provide housing, shelter and counseling supports to people who are housing insecure in the City and County of Peterborough.

Want to do more?

All of the artists have come forward as volunteers to share their time and talent so that your entire ticket prices will  fund housing and homelessness services and supports locally.  More than any other profession, artists are those who are most frequently asked to deliver their services for free and, as a Living Wage Employer, United Way Peterborough & District strives each year to provide an honorarium to these generous performers.  Some donate it back and some, are overcome with gratitude as they truly can use the extra.  So that all ticket sale proceeds can benefit our Partner Agencies, we have provided a sponsorship opportunity for companies or organizations who want to help build a strong, healthy and vibrant community for us all.

22% of Canadians live with a disability.

41% of people in poverty have a disability.

Those numbers aren’t just statistics; they’re a call to action.

This #DisabilityPrideMonth, United Way Peterborough & District stands with people with disabilities to break barriers and build communities where everyone belongs.

We invest in accessible community programs and barrier-reduction initiatives as part of a strategic response to this gap.
