What a fun day at @gmfinancial Peterborough centre yesterday celebrating their United Way Campaign!

Did you know the GM Financial has been supporting United Way Peterborough and District since 2002⁉️

Over the years their team has gotten very creative when it comes to fundraising activities ➡️ swipe to see some of this years shenanigans. The “Cookie Face Challenge” was a part of a minute to win it style face off between team leads and members of the senior leadership team!

The United Way Ultimate Burger Battle returns this November, and we couldn’t be more excited after all the fun we had last year🍔✨!

Active transportation is encouraged, and bike racks will be provided. Use of strong bike locks is recommended.

FORMAT:
- All 7 mayoral candidates will provide brief opening statements;
- Candidates will take turns discussing their platforms and approaches with the moderator, in a style similar to a job interview;
- Audience members will have a chance to ask their own questions, both in the room and online;
- Candidates will provide brief closing remarks.

YMCA`s FAMILY DROP-IN:
Families with children are invited to watch the livestream at YMCA’s Development Centre (123 Aylmer Street South) on October 7, from 6:00PM - 8:30PM.

Family Drop-In Features:
- Free participation for all families
- Livestream of the mayoral event
- Toys and activity mats for young children
- Supervised drop-in programming for children ages 4-12

Children ages 4-12 may be signed into the YMCA`s supervised drop-in program. Parents and caregivers of children ages 4-12 are welcome to remain in the YMCA Development Centre to watch the livestream or attend the discussion in-person at the New Canadians Centre.
