Emergency Community Support Fund

Round Two

We are proud to have partnered with United Way Centraide Canada and the Government of Canada to deliver the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF) in Peterborough. United Way Peterborough & District received many applications for community programs and services that support vulnerable community members. 17 organizations have been approved for a total of $130,539.60 during round one of the ECSF. We are pleased to announce the ECSF is supporting the following:

  • $8,000 was invested in Alternatives Community Program Services
  • $5,000 was invested in the Canadian Cancer Society
  • $6,000 was invested in Community Counselling and Resource Centre
  • $3,785 was invested in Easter Seals Ontario
  • $9,831.60 was invested in Five Counties Children’s Centre
  • $10,000 was invested in Good Neighbours Care Centre
  • $3,000 was invested in Greater Peterborough Health Services Foundation
  • $8,970 was invested in Greenwood United Church/Bedford House
  • $7,553 was invested in John Howard Society of Peterborough
  • $6,500 was invested in Junior Achievement of Peterborough Lakeland Muskoka
  • $10,000 was invested in Kawartha Child Care Services (Compass Early Learning & Care)
  • $7,900 was invested in Kawartha Child Care Services (Compass Early Learning & Care)
  • $10,000 was invested in Peterborough Green-up Association
  • $10,000 was invested in Trent Valley Literacy Association
  • $4,000 was invested in Victim Services of Peterborough and Northumberland
  • $10,000 was invested in VON Peterborough Victoria Haliburton
  • $10,000 was invested in VON Peterborough Victoria Haliburton
