Community Campaign

The Community Campaign for United Way Peterborough & District is led by community volunteers. Through their dedication, commitment to community and tenacity, these leaders from all sectors and walks of life utilize their networks to grow capacity and inspire gifts that will support everyone in our community, when and where they need it most.

Next Saturday, November 7, we`re inviting the community to come together and donate to Coats for Community... and More!

Drop off new or gently used winter clothing, coats, footwear and seasonal essentials at PATH (385 Lansdowne St E) between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Your donations will help make sure our neighbours have the essentials they need to stay warm this winter.

Take a look through your closets, ask a friend or neighbour to do the same, and bring what you can. Every donation helps, and together, we can make a real difference for people in our community.

For 85 years, neighbours have been coming together to build a stronger, more caring Peterborough community. This year, there’s an extra reason to celebrate: eligible donations will be matched dollar for dollar!

Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, new donations of $85 or more, as well as any increase to an existing gift, will be matched 100% through our 2026 Community Campaign.

This is the third and final year of this incredible matching gift, making it a special opportunity to double your impact and help support the network of 20 local agencies working to strengthen our community.
