Happy Halloween 🎃 from the United Way Peterborough & District team!
What a fun day at @gmfinancial Peterborough centre yesterday celebrating their United Way Campaign!
Did you know the GM Financial has been supporting United Way Peterborough and District since 2002⁉️
Over the years their team has gotten very creative when it comes to fundraising activities ➡️ swipe to see some of this years shenanigans. The “Cookie Face Challenge” was a part of a minute to win it style face off between team leads and members of the senior leadership team!
Thank you so much to the team at @gmfinancial for your ongoing support. Your contributions go a long way in supporting our neighbours ❤️.
We are so happy to be back at our Stewart St. office after a couple of weeks working remotely due to aforementioned “unforeseen circumstances”! Come by and say hello! The team has missed you.
The United Way Ultimate Burger Battle returns this November, and we couldn’t be more excited after all the fun we had last year🍔✨!
Let us know your FAVOURITE burger in Peterborough and County in the comments below ⬇️ tell us your go to spot and we’ll see if they have what it takes!
You’re not seeing double, your generosity can go twice as far!
For 85 years, neighbours have been coming together to build a stronger, more caring Peterborough community. This year, there’s an extra reason to celebrate: eligible donations will be matched dollar for dollar!
Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, new donations of $85 or more, as well as any increase to an existing gift, will be matched 100% through our 2026 Community Campaign.
This is the third and final year of this incredible matching gift, making it a special opportunity to double your impact and help support the network of 20 local agencies working to strengthen our community.
Whether you’re making your first gift or increasing your support, your generosity makes a difference.
85 years united. Double the impact. Stronger together.

A little extra reason to be thankful this long weekend! ❤️
A big thank you to @cityptbo for organizing a Thanksgiving food drive as part of their United Way workplace campaign! These generous donations will support two of our community partners, @yesshelterptbo and @ywca.peterborough.haliburton
It’s a great reminder that workplace campaigns are about so much more than fundraising. They’re about finding meaningful ways to show up for our community and make a difference together.
Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and restful Thanksgiving long weekend!
