We are excited to announce the upcoming “Day of Caring” event for the United Way Peterborough & District! 🙌🏼

Join us on Friday, June 16th 2023, for a day filled with volunteer work and community building. This event is a wonderful opportunity to give back to our community and make a real difference in the lives of those around us.

Whether you’re an individual or a group, we welcome all volunteers who are passionate about making a positive impact. Together, we can create a better and stronger Peterborough.

Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to connect with your community and make a meaningful contribution.

Open Call for Volunteer Projects!

United Way Peterborough & District is committed to creating positive change in our community and we  appreciate the important work that all of our local not for profit agencies do to support our mission of building a strong, vibrant and equitable community for us all.  Our Day of Caring will be about supporting local agencies in completing projects that will enhance their agencies or initiatives.

If you are a local not for profit that has a small odd jobs like, organizing a storage room, painting a fence, or planting flowers or a larger scale initiative that can be completed by a group of volunteers, we would like to invite you to submit your tasks or projects  for the 2023 United Way “Day of Caring” HERE

Every great leader has a story... and today, we`re excited to share the beginning of @_thetiffanyshow story as your 2026 United Way Campaign Chair.

As we launch our 85th Community Campaign, we`re turning the page to a new chapter - one rooted in connection, collaboration, and the incredible power of community. Tiffany has spent years shining a spotlight on the people, organizations and stories that make Peterborough & District such a special place to call home. Now, she`ll help lead a Campaign that celebrates what we can accomplish when we come together.

This grand reveal wouldn`t have been possible without the creativity and generosity of Johanna Hawkshaw and the incredible team @yourtvptbo who helped bring our vision to life. Thank you for embracing the fun and helping us tell this story in such a memorable way.

If UW Campaign Chairs came with a Netflix special, we`re pretty sure this would make the final cut 🎬🍿 ...

A special thank you as well to our 2025 Campaign Chair, Paul Rellinger, and our amazing staff for being great sports and helping kick off this exciting new chapter.

Reaching Home: Canada’s Homelessness Strategy is a community-based program aimed at preventing and reducing homelessness across Canada. This program provides funding to communities to help them address their local homelessness needs.
