Peterborough, ON [Wednesday, July 15] – It was an exciting afternoon at United Way Peterborough & District as newly appointed CEO Jason Seguya announced the organization’s incoming Chair for the 2026 Community Campaign Cabinet.
“We are honoured to welcome Tiffany Arcari as Campaign Chair for United Way Peterborough & District’s 85th annual campaign. Tiffany brings an incredible energy that lights up every room, but even more importantly, she brings a deep and genuine commitment to our community. Her dedication is reflected in everything she does. She is a true neighbour, friend and community superstar, and we are thrilled to follow her leadership in this year’s campaign,” said Seguya.
Reflecting on her new role, Arcari shared, “I said yes because I firmly believe that no one should have to face life’s hard moments alone. The United Way shows us what is possible when neighbours choose to stand beside each other. So, for me, this was an easy YES.”
A longtime Peterborough resident, Arcari is known for her deep connection to the community and her passion for supporting local businesses and organizations. She regularly shines a spotlight on the people and stories that make the region unique through her social media platforms and talk show, The Tiffany Show.
Arcari first became involved with United Way as a judge for the Ultimate Burger Battle, a fundraising initiative introduced last fall in support of the 2025 campaign. From there, she became a dedicated champion of United Way throughout the campaign season, lending her voice both online and in person to help raise awareness and inspire community support.
As part of her commitment, Arcari also hosted a donation drive for United Way’s Period Promise initiative at her International Women’s Day event, collecting nearly 10,000 items and making a significant contribution to the success of the program.
Following her outstanding support and enthusiasm throughout the 2025 campaign, Arcari was the natural choice to serve as Chair of United Way’s 2026 Community Campaign.
“I have spent years telling the stories in this community, and one thing is always clear: when someone needs us, this community rallies. That’s what being a neighbour is all about. My hope is that every one of us is inspired to find a way to be the neighbour someone else needs—and the United Way has a ton of opportunities to do just that.”
As Chair, Arcari will lead a team of more than 20 volunteers dedicated to championing the annual campaign, inspiring philanthropy, and building new community connections in support of United Way’s work. For Arcari, the role is ultimately about ensuring every neighbour feels supported when they need it most.
“The reason I believe so fiercely in this campaign is because… people matter. Behind every statistic is a neighbour, a family, a story. For 85 years, United Way has brought our community together to make sure people don’t have to face challenges alone—and I am honoured to help carry that mission forward as Chair this year.”
