Brittany Cadence, MCM: Brittany brings more than 20 years of experience as a professional communicator in many fields, including education, tourism, and public health. Following her degree from Trent University in History and Indigenous Studies, she has dedicated her career to helping organizations achieve their strategic priorities in today’s dynamic communications environment. Her mission is to build trust with key audiences and serve as an ally for those challenged by the systemic barriers in society. Since 2009, she has led the Communications team at Peterborough Public Health where she is responsible for strategic communications and IT services. Brittany holds a master’s degree in Communications Management from McMaster University and for five years served as founding co-chair of the Ontario Association of Public Health Communicators. Brittany is a former a board member of the Community Counselling & Resource Centre and is proud to support the marketing and communications efforts of this year’s United Way campaign.
