Over a month ago, the amazing team at Scotiabank rolled up their sleeves to build handcrafted, solid wood garden boxes with Councillor Dugay for Day of Caring 2025. These boxes were sold to support local United Way initiatives, and Scotiabank generously offered to match the funds raised through sales!
This morning, we were thrilled to receive a cheque from the Scotiabank team in support of our ongoing community programs. Thank you for being champions of change and demonstrating how generosity in action can grow beyond just one day.

Help us give these students the tools for success this school year when you donate to our Backpacks for Success campaign. We believe every child deserves a quality education and part of that includes equal access to essential school supplies.

Right now, we’re asking for a little extra help from our generous community so we can purchase higher cost items like calculators and math kits. No matter the size of your donation, $5 or $50, you can be sure it makes a BIG difference to a child in need.

Day of Caring 2025 is a wrap! What a day!
From painting and planting to organizing and building, volunteers from some AMAZING local organizations and businesses in Peterborough came together today in support of #DayOfCaring2025! Their efforts will leave a lasting impact on the local non-profits they served.
