The United Youth Advisory Committee

the United Way’s Youth Advisory Committee. Read through their interviews and get to know our members!
Madison Hargreaves
Where do you go to school?
St. Peter’s Secondary School.
What do you want to be when you "grow up"? Something in law and political sciences.
What are your hobbies? Tennis, skiing, poetry, and music.
Why did you want to be a part of the Youth Committee? To be more involved in my community and to learn active leadership skills.
What is your favorite thing about the committee? Being able to help people in need in my community.
What you are looking forward to achieving on the committee?
Leadership skills and volunteer experiences.
Dream vacation? Dream Vacation would be to Japan.
Abby Bowell
Where do you attend school? Kenner
What do you want to be when you grow up? Surgeon.
What are your hobbies? Reading and sports.
Why did you want to be a part of the Youth Advisory Committee? Volunteer experience and getting involved in the community.
What is your favourite thing about the Committee?
Working together and building leadership skills.
What are you looking forward to achieving on the Committee?
I look forward to achieving group skills, and a better understanding of my community.
Dream vacation: Traveling to Greece for the summer

Where do you attend school? St. Peter’s Secondary.
What do you want to be when you grow up? Chartered Accountant.
What are your hobbies? Reading, hockey, paint balling, skiing, baseball, football and gaming.
Why did you want to be part of the Youth Advisory Committee? To gain my 40 hours of community service need to graduate and to help.
What is your favourite thing about the Committee? The openness.
What are you looking forward to achieving on the Committee? To help the community as much as possible.
Favourite Vacation: Too many favourite vacations to choose just one.

Where do you go to school? Crestwood Secondary School.
What do you want to be when you grow up? Architect or Mathematician.
What are your hobbies? Running, playing with dogs and biking.
Why did you want to be a part of the Youth Advisory Committee? Meet new people, community hours, something to get involved in.
What are you looking forward to achieving on the Committee? The ability to help people in my community.
Favourite dream? Winning the Lotto 649.

Where do you go to school? Holy Cross.
What do you want to be when you grow up? S.E.R.T (Student Emergency Response Team) or C.A.S.A Teacher.
What are your hobbies? Iphone.
What is your favourite thing about the Committee? The project planning and implanting youth programs.
