information and referral services to local residents and organizations and to promote community volunteerism.

Non-Profit Resource Library
Imagine Canada-John Hodgson Library and United Way of Peterborough & District are working together to provide local
community based organizations with access to useful information, resources and training. The Non-Profit Library Network (NLN)
provides free access to the largest collection of Canadian non-profit literature in the world.
What Can the Non-profit Resource Library Offer Your Agency?
- Access to your local community collection—a core collection of resources on fundraising, volunteer and HR management,
governance and much more hosted by the United Way of Peterborough & District.
- Access to John Hodgson Library’s online collection through a dedicated terminal at the United Way Office.
- Free online access to the Canadian Directory of Foundations and Grants.
Visit the United Way office, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm to access the community collection.
