Agency Description: PSPC serves the City and County by providing sound, unbiased research on important local issues including income security, homelessness, poverty, child development, violence prevention, and access to food and shelter. PSPC facilitates active, broad-based citizen participation in shaping healthy communities in Peterborough City and County. Acts as a catalyst for positive, sustainable social change. Promotes understanding that "social justice is in everyone's interest". PSPC believes that to have a truly healthy community, barriers to full inclusion and involvement in society must be removed. PSPC activities include public educational social research social policy analysis; community development; partnerships with other organizations and groups of people.
