Agency Description: Designated as the Ontario Early Years Centre for Peterborough, provides free programs and information for parents throughout the city and county, including: father/mother and child programs; pregnancy, birth, infant development, school readiness; speakers' bureau; parenting courses, support groups; child development and parenting information; coordination and delivery of parenting programs and nursery support at the Peterborough School for Young Moms; child care information and options; toy and book lending library; a link to other early years services; volunteer opportunities. The PFRC is the administrator of all School Nutrition Programs for Central East Ontario.
