Agency Description: Peterborough Community Chaplaincy provides a supporting environment and practical daily assistance to people making the transition from prison to community with the primary focus on community safety and the belief that everyone has equal value and worth. Supportive services include safe, affordable transitional housing; teaching life skills; assistance finding suitable work; obtaining financial support; receiving medical care; and ensuring clients are receiving an adequate diet.

Number Who Benefit Annually: 40-50 clients per year. In 2006 the agency had 1,452 contacts with clients and 984 contacts with other supportive agencies.
