Agency Description: Kawartha Food Share is the warehouse and distribution centre for emergency food in the City and County of Peterborough. We provide food to 34 local agencies who operate food banks, food cupboards, and meal programs. We also support 39 school meal programs. Kawartha Food Share also to heighten public awareness of local hunger issues.

Number Who Benefit Annually: Each month over 6,500 people receive food supplied by Kawartha Food Share, with 40% of them being youth and children. We also help provide food to over 5,500 children each day through school meal programs.
